Session 1: Indigenous Media Pathways

The first Indigeverse session will take a broad view of Indigeverse not just as an event but as a way of thinking about Native digital media. Panelists are invited to discuss a broad set of topics that touch on what they see as the impact of Indigenous media on Tribal cultural knowledge and experience, and new and emerging directions for Native creators and innovators.

About the Speaker

 

Steven Paul Judd, Filmmaker, Artist

Stephen Paul Judd is Kiowa and Choctaw from Oklahoma. He is a filmmaker, director, screenwriter, writer of fiction and visualist. He’s a member of the Writers Guild of America and served as staff writer for Disney’s XD Comedy Series, “Zeke and Luther.” Judd’s filmography is large in scope and provides a unique perspective on and from within Native American culture today.
